AFC Services

Having partnered with many reproductive health providers across the nation since 2003, Ann has developed a core understanding of the services provided, the coding and operational issues faced over time and has established herself as a trusted colleague / confidant to her clients.  Being a small company, AFC is flexible and accommodating with meeting client needs and can easily adapt services provided.  

AFC collaborates with other credentialed, seasoned professionals including certified coders to ensure objectives are met and quality results are provided with each and every project.

 

Revenue Cycle Management

AFC provides services relating to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and fiscal sustainability including:  Improving charge capture; documentation and coding reviews, improvement and education; compliant billing and claim correction; understanding payer reimbursement; A/R and denial management, cost and contract modeling; development of facility reporting tools; and client education.  

 

 

Training

AFC education is focused on relevant services, detailed and well-organized building on participant's knowledge with clearly defined important concepts and  scenario-based examples.  Ann is a frequent national presenter on coding and revenue cycle issues to reproductive health and family planning providers and thus understands the focused services provided and the many nuances involved with being reimbursed appropriately across payers.

Trainings are provided both onsite or via webinar format meeting meeting the needs of busy clinical and management staff.

 

Audit / Compliance

AFC provides coding, billing and other RCM-focused audits and reviews for clients understanding the detailed codes and supporting documentation needed to describe services provided. 

Having an extensive understanding of the NYS Medicaid Ambulatory Payment Group (APGs) payment methodology, AFC also understands many of the issues NYS clients face claiming and being paid appropriately under this system.  AFC works with her clients to resolve issues and increase staff knowledge.
