Ann is a national trainer and frequently speaks on issues relating to coding, billing, reimbursement and improving the overall revenue cycle. 

Collaborating

Ann enjoys and works collaboratively with Reproductive Health National Training Center (RHNTC), Upstream USA, NYC DOHMH SBHC-RHP, National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA), National Clinical Training Center for Family Planning (NCTCFP), CAI Global, New York State Family Planning Training Center, NYC DOHMH - Bureau of Maternal, Infant and Reproductive Health, JSI Research and Training Institute, Converge, Cardea Services, Planned Parenthoods, Departments of Health and many family planning, STD, and reproductive health providers across the US to improve fiscal sustainability. 

Within NYS, Ann has extensive expertise and experience with the NYS Medicaid Ambulatory Patient's Group (APG) payment system since its inception and the issues faced claiming under this system. She has worked closely with Providers and NYS DOH to identify and correct claims, teach payment methodologies and improve coding, internal charging and billing processes. 

AFC collaborates with other credentialed, seasoned professionals including certified coders to ensure objectives are met and quality results are provided with each and every project. Personal service with attention to detail is part of the AFC mission. 

Education

Education includes a BS in Quantitative Analysis, Business and Financial Management / Computer Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo;  CPT, E/M and ICD-CM coding instruction.
